Iḿ really not happy with how this turned out but I just wanted to get it done
3D House Project
I´m pretty happy with this project, I was pretty skeptical at first because of my terrible attempts at perspective before this. But I´m glad with the way it turned out and I´m happy to be finished.
Impressionism Painting
I thought I had a pretty good idea for what I wanted to do, but in the classroom it's hard to be fully involved in it. I'm really disappointed with it and I hope I can redo it soon and turn in something better.
Alebrije Clay Project
My starting Alebrijes sketch was slightly different but once I got started with the clay i realized I needed to make it simpler. By the end of the first week I had my pinch pots together and before the end of the second week I finished. For as much as I struggled in the begging I'm proud with how this came out but it's safe to say clay is not my strong suit.
Portrait Project
I started my portrait project with just a general portrait to familiarize myself with the way you wanted it done, as assigned. I'm fairly proud of it, I feel like I could do better but it's a good start. Sadly I forgot to take progress photos of the final project but overall I'm honestly a little disappointed with the way it came out.
Close Up Value Project
This is my guitar for my Close Up Value Drawing Project. I sadly didn't remember to take any progress photos.
Book Binding
1-Making the endpage- When I went to put it in the drying rack is bled really bad and created that brown spot. Luckily I had to go over it with some purple and some more red, which concealed it a little. 2-Making the signatures-Not really much that could go wrong here! 3&4-Making the cover- I wish I would've cut the shirt slightly larger to give myself bigger (and easier to glue) seams, but I didn't and it still works. I also like that the placement of the words and heart ended up right.
Mask Making
1&2- Sewing the curves together, along with the nose piece -I was beginning to think that it would end up being too small, but other than that I was pleased so far.3- Sewing the nose piece, inside and outside all together!- It did end up being a *little* small, but not too small.4-Attaching the elastic-After going through the process with the elastic, I wish I would have chosen to take the time to complete the strings nicely. 5-All done!-Overall I'm pleased! If I could change anything I would've chosen an adult small instead of a teen size, and I would've done strings instead of elastic, but I'm happy with it!
